Heulandite is a monoclinic crystal, with the common colours green, white or peach. It has a hardness of 3 to 4 on the Moh scale.
Most Heulandite comes from India, and it is commonly found with Stibnite.
In The Book of Stones, Robert Simmons writes that Green Heulandite helps to strengthen your Heart’s connection to the earth… that big rock beneath you… which most people don’t give much thought too… but upon which we all depend for our continued survival…
But we would and can go further…
Green Heulandite helps to ground your Heart Chakra.
In many ways, your Solar Plexus chakra is the person who you have become, all the experiences to date which have shaped your personality… while your Heart Chakra is the person who you were meant to be… the individual who your Soul came to be… and incarnate as / express…
The difference… and the gap between the two… our actuality and our Soul potential… is where most of us live out our lives…
We carry still dreams of what we want to be… and might become… but all pain of the Earth plan… and the voices of others… have moulded us into something different… so most of us are a long way from what our Soul originally intended…
OK, what does that mean… in practical terms… and how does it relate to Green Heulandite?
Well… Suppose you were a Soul about to incarnate into a female body, and you have chosen to explore the role of an empowered female.
That is your Soul purpose for this lifetime, and it is encoded into your Heart chakra.
The people you meet along your path… the situations you attract… will somehow be in alignment with that Soul purpose for your lifetime…
Now… If you were born into a supportive culture, such as 21st Century Canada, then (particular family background withstanding) you would be off to a good start… you are surrounded by people / a culture that believes that women have a voice, rights and should be educated etc…
However… suppose you are born instead into a country like rural Afghanistan, where women struggle to express themselves, let alone follow their dreams or have little control over their lives in a male-dominated tribal society. From birth, you would be under enormous pressure to conform.
In many ways, your Solar Plexus is moulded by your family, your tribe, your society (and it takes a strong child to resist… that is one of the design flaws with being human… you may have come down with a message, but you then forget and have to remember… and during the forgetting period, others will be speaking their truth into your mind / heart, confusing you with their vision).
So when an individual is pressurized into ignoring their individual dreams, and accepting the role forced upon them by their society, the Solar Plexus becomes damaged, distorted, even inverted.
The Solar Plexus is no longer fighting on behalf of that individual… but has turned into a prison guard imprisoning that individual and their Heart dreams.
The young girl born into Canadian society has less chance of being pressured into being something she does not want to be… the young girl born into rural Afghanistan much less so…
But the important point for this discussion / exploration…
When this happens, then the Solar Plexus will also suppress and distort the Soul desires of the Heart in order to fit in, and so the individual loses their Heart connection.
They start to forget what they came here to do, and their Heart becomes UNGROUNDED.
Good news… Green Heulandite helps to ground the Heart, so that it can not only connect to the earth once again (it is the best Heart Chakra grounding crystal I have found), once grounded, the Heart starts to remember those long forgotten, whispered dreams of the Soul, deep within the Heart.
Plus, being grounded, the Heart also acquires a degree of protection… and also self-knowledge.
This doesn’t mean that life necessarily becomes easy. But at least you can start to remember who you truly are… and that is a real beginning because it means you have re-established your Soul connection… and your chances of achieving your life-purpose in what remains of your life start to increase… greatly…
And that is where true happiness lies.
